SPX Daily -  I like my 60m chart better. It's backtesting all sorts of busted resistance. It's in a pickle right now. Gotta hang on and let them show their hand. You can see why I would prefer a small correction into consolidation here.

Just waiting on Trump to finally start doing something about the real deep state actors. Mueller fake collusion report needs to end yesterday. Interesting Q stuff over the weekend.

Watched some Nat Geo stuff last night thinking it was gonna be cool on Maya and Megaliths and Gobekle Tepe and got nothing but propaganda and half truths. I was so disappointed. We are fed so much shit. You can not believe anything anymore.

I can't get charts to load. Something wrong with SC. NBD gonna break through some resistance at the open. There is more R just above.  Interesting spot. Still think near term OB and needs a breather. This is a great spot, unless the Fed thinks otherwise.

On to the lie -

SPX 60m - OK, looks like we've reached that point in time where some sort of decision needs to be made. Pretty simple getting here. STB called it all the way - IHnS to target, wedge breakdown to form rising channel, boring rise into resistance. Along the way we met a much larger IHnS that may still be in play, but not much else. Pretty basic stuff. NOW, are we about to reverse and have a measurable pullback - say 200 SPX or 2000 DOW points? Form a massing RS for an even bigger IHnS? Could be. In that process does price consolidate below here for a bit? That would be rather convenient. It needs a breather. With Russia probe ending and anywhere from 9 to 20 possible indictments coming next week - the markets may get rocked a bit. I'm gonna remain calm and let them tell me what to do. Follow the Fed - that's the only rule. Bottom line is we've reached a point where a bigger correction or pause is due, but .... it's their market, so ...

SPX 60m - Let's watch support. 2670, 25 and 00. Curious to see if that potential rising channel support holds. 38% retrace at the round number looks like a good target here, but several support points to get through to get there. I remain uninspired. Like the China news the other day, need external motivation to get volatility going again.

Uninspired still. MA resistance. I think price will take a break and settle and possibly start to consolidate and find a range to settle into. Don't see any catalysts at the moment for big moves either way. Might be time to churn a bit.

SPX Daily - I'm still uninspired. Drift up. SOTU could have effect, but right now things appear to be back on cruise control. Disaster can happen at any moment. Never discount TDS and FF possibilities. Fed can change course. It's all a house of cards.

Tons of resistance. MA's minefield. 62% retracement. Then there is that IHnS. I don't think that works. I nailed the last one before possibly everyone. Not counting it out, but not liking it.

One thing - My fav indicator, the MACD Hist, is waning and neg diving from price. This has me leaning with caution now more than anything. No disaster setup. Needs a pullback and run up to get that.

SPX 60m - Best I got right now. Price came back up and filled the island gap as expected. IHnS clear as day, but we're at the target of the last IHnS. Can they double up? I'm not so sure about that, but with a doveish Fed ... Let's just stick to the potential rising channel scenario I presented a few days back and not get too carried away with any projections right now. Way too much turmoil out there to get behind a move either way quite yet. Let them show their hand. Up to the 2750 area is major resistance for SPX. Should be tough sledding up to there.

As I like to say, the markets are nothing more than a distraction. Then again, what is real? ZH reading typical gloom and doom as the truth is there but no one really cares. Good vs evil. Let's just hope there are more of us with some sort of sense left in our heads than it appears. If not, the showdown is gonna be .... biblical.


On to the lie -

SPX 60m - OK, Island gap in yellow. Then watch to see if the blue channel up forms out of this broken down rising blue wedge. As far as patterns go this fits the IHnS (which can be seen very clearly on this chart) scenario best. STB's not quite into all this bullishness quite yet. Daily macd hist falling nailed yesterday and may set the trend sideways to down for a few days.

SPX Daily - 100dma crossing under the 200 is never a good thing. Resistance at the diagonal and then ultimate R at the 100 and 200 dma's. 2714 is 61% retracement of the last fall, so were smack dab in the middle of a lot of resistance and turnaround point.
